David Guettler
Founder/CEO
David Guettler is the Founder/CEO of Gold Mine Golf, Inc. located in Dahlonega, GA. He contributed 22 years in a family owned business in Florida, assisting with all aspects of 17 turn-key golf course projects and 35 turn-key land development projects from ground breaking to completion. David recognized this experience would unlock his vision to start a new venture which resulted in moving to Georgia and opening his own business, Gold Mine Golf, Inc. David prides himself on establishing excellent relationships with Owners, Developers, Engineers, Inspectors, and Architects and in completing any project on schedule and on budget. He has a strong background and work ethic in new business developments, consulting and understanding all work in concert with all levels of development construction and management. Due to David’s leadership in the last 20 years, Gold Mine Golf, Inc. continues to be a step ahead of the competition in maintaining excellent customer relations with Clients, providing turn-key projects, bringing new innovation techniques in design and golf course construction, and knowledge of best environmental practices in soil erosion control and site development.

Devin Guettler

Beginning at a young age, Devin was exposed to the world of golf course construction. Every summer he would be with his father, David, traveling from course to course all over the state of Florida and the southeast. One of his earliest memories, at the age of four, was traveling to Missouri to see David while he was building a golf course. By the age of eight, he was operating equipment and surprising people on how well he could run all different kinds of machines. Over the years his passion for construction and design have continued to grow. While attending Lanier Technical College to gain his CAD Operator Assistant Certification, he made the decision to join the family business. For the next 10 years he continued to grow his knowledge and expertise in many areas of golf course construction and design. Over the years, Devin has developed working relationships with many Architects, Superintendents, and Engineers. He holds a Level 1B Certified Inspector card and Level 2 Plan Reviewer card through the GSWCC. He was given the opportunity to work for the Department of Engineering for Forsyth County as a Stormwater Inspector. During his time at Forsyth, he learned about Local, State, and Federal Regulations, and inspecting and reporting on commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential sites. Devin was responsible for enforcing erosion and stormwater control measures (BMPs), NPDES and MS4 Permits. He has also gained knowledge in Green Infrastructure installation, maintenance, and inspection.
In February 2019, Devin returned to Gold Mine Golf, Inc. bringing with him the knowledge from his experience as a Stormwater Inspector, in hopes of pursuing new opportunities for the company. Devin strives to be a lifelong learner of the industry and looks to the future of Gold Mine Golf, Inc. and one day pursuing the role and leadership as President.
